On November 1, we celebrated the opening of our in-school family food market at Koch Elementary in the Riverview Gardens School District with a ribbon cutting and wellness fair. Koch is one of 11 in-school markets we manage in partnership with St. Louis Area Foodbank in food deserts, where families from Koch can more easily access food staples like milk and eggs, fresh, frozen and shelf-stable items, and hygiene products – at no cost.

We are so thankful for the continued work with SLAFB to combat food insecurity, and the wellness providers who participated in the event. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services brought enough dental supplies for every student! Our message to the community: we are here, we care and there is hope!
