The Muny will host a coat drive for Little Bit during its showing of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” August 12-18, 2022. New coats for students, PreK-12th grade, can be dropped off at Muny entrances each night of the performance. Coats also can be purchased through Little Bit’s Amazon Wish List here.

Miranda Walker Jones, CEO of The Little Bit Foundation, said, “In the middle of a steamy St. Louis summer, it’s hard to believe how cold it will be in just a few months from now. Unfortunately, the cold is all too real for many families in our area, who struggle to afford basic needs such as winter coats for their children. We are so grateful to team up with the Muny in collecting new coats for the 14,000 under-resourced students we serve across the area, especially as the majority of coats we had for the school year were lost in recent flood damage to our warehouse. When students have what they need – coats, shoes that fit, school supplies, etc. – they have greater potential to succeed in the classroom and in life.”
